Attorney
Trent Cooper is an attorney at Dugas & Circelli, PLLC, where he represents commercial and residential property owners in first-party insurance matters. He is licensed to practice law in all federal and state courts in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.
Trent graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 before obtaining his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2021. While in law school, Trent gained valuable experience working for a federal judge and several prominent civil litigation firms. He also excelled in advocacy, serving as Chairman of the Board of Advocates for South Texas’s nationally recognized Advocacy Program.
During his time at South Texas, Trent achieved numerous accolades in advocacy, including recognition as a national finalist and regional champion at the National Moot Court Competition and the award for Best Overall Advocate at the American Bar Association’s regional moot court competition. His advocacy success earned him the Dean’s Student Advocacy Service Award and induction into the National Order of the Barristers.
Trent continues to give back as a coach for South Texas’ advocacy program and serves as a volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the largest scholarship provider in the State of Texas.
